Berry Hearty Parfait

Created by Kashi Read more antioxidants, cooking, fiber, Heart To Heart, protein, and recipes

Makes 1 serving.

Ingredients

    • ¼ cup fresh organic strawberries, sliced (about 5)
    • ¼ cup fresh organic blueberries
    • ¼ cup fresh organic raspberries
    • 6 ounces organic plain, nonfat yogurt (or soy yogurt)
    • ¾ cup Kashi® Heart to Heart® Honey Toasted Oat cereal
    • 2 sprigs fresh mint (optional)

    Directions

    In a 12-ounce parfait or sundae style glass, alternately layer the fruit, yogurt, and Kashi® Heart to Heart® Honey Toasted Oat cereal. Repeat until you have used all the ingredients and garnish with fresh sprigs of mint.

    If you’re having company, simply multiply the recipe enough to have one parfait per person.

    You can really up the protein ante if you use Greek yogurt! You can get it in the health foods section in many grocery stores. They have plain and flavored varities. My husband loves it and says it’s creamier than regular yogurt. And it sticks with him longer because of the protein content.
