Kashi™ Spicy Honey Almond Snack Mix
Makes 8 servings

Ingredients
- ¼ cup organic coconut flakes
- 4 cups Kashi® GOLEAN Crunch ® Honey Almond Flax cereal
- 2 tablespoons organic golden flax seeds
- 3 tablespoons expeller pressed safflower oil
- 1 teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce
- ¼ cup almonds, sliced and toasted
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 2 tablespoons white sesame seeds
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon local honey
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300°F. Begin by toasting coconut flakes. Spread coconut on a cookie sheet, place in oven for 2-3 minutes or until flakes begin to brown slightly. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Toss well to thoroughly coat and mix. Spread mixture evenly on a baking sheet in a ½-inch thick layer. Put into oven and bake for 3-5 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool to room temp and enjoy.
TIP: The snack mix can be kept in airtight container for a several weeks or made in advance for parties.
