UUmm I really LOVE the flavor of these thingy’s but where is the meat? I see it in the picture on the front of the product box,but when you bite into the sandwich there isn’t anything but 2-3 slivers of meat at max ,I’m not dramatizing cause I studied this since the first time I have tryed them 5 sandwiches ago…...they cost nearly the same as the full entree meals and the entree’s have alot of meat in them…so put some MEAT in the sandwich or call them “meatless with meat flavor/by product”!Kashi seriously adjust that picture and price or make it right please, cause I’m a hungry healthy person whom usually loves you .

this stuff is so good! I had the turkey fiesta and I enjoyed it very much. I was a little doubtful especially with putting bread in the microwave I though it was be too chewy & stale. But instead it was perfect!

I just tried the rustico, it was very good, flavorful and good portion size. This is saying something because I am extremely overweight (5’11” @ 380) and love my food. I am now though trying to work on losing weight and its nice to find something that is healthy and good for you and still tastes good.

I don’t know, Siberian7. Look at that sodium and think of your blood pressure. But then, everything in moderation, right?

I loved it. Tasty, healthy and satisfying for work lunch.

I must admit, I hesitated buying one of these because I didn’t think it would be sufficient for a “meal.” Also, I’m on Weight Watchers so I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the POINTS either. To my utmost surprise, it was GREAT and well worth it!!!!

The outer bread is good, but the filling is just okay. It was too salty for my taste. They taste better first microwaved then toasted. I don’t think I’ll buy these again. They weren’t bad, just not worth the money.

Absolutely fantastic, the Chicken Rustico is. Unbelievable taste in both the pocketbread itself, and the filling. Large pieces of crimini mushrooms were an excellent touch. It has a bit more sodium than i’d like (honestly, going from 670mpg down to, say, 450mg would NOT ruin this sandwich at all)... but as EBK says, that’s probably par for the course re: frozen foods.

However, at $3 per 5.5oz pocket, they’re not particularly affordable. $3 for 5.5oz, contrasted with Lean Pockets, which give you TWO 4.5 oz pockets (9 oz total) for just $1.89. I know, this is really apples to oranges given how much HEALTHIER and tastier Kashis’s product is… but that’s a very sizeable price difference. $2 per pocket would be more reasonable, especially since the entrees that weigh twice as much are $3.

But if you can afford these things and don’t mind the 670mg of sodium…. the ingredients and the taste and the health aspect are AMAZING. Overall grade: A.

I bought this to take to work. It was convenient and quite tasty, but not as filling as the entrees despite a similar amount of calories. I did buy it again though, but I’ll bring a healthy snack with me to get me through the rest of my work day.

I had this for lunch today and it was fantastic. I was surprised that the bread ended up as soft as it was and didn’t get hard like so many frozen breaded items do. Since it was kind of small, I ate some raw carrot sticks to complete the meal. I loved this and will definitely buy it again. I’d like to try the other varieties, but I haven’t seen them in my store yet.

I had this for lunch yesterday with some micro-steamed veggies. Great lunch. Love the pocketbread taste and consistency right out of the microwave. The flavors and seasonings in the filling were wonderful. On sale currently (BOGO) and seem to be priced ok.

I have loved just about all the Kashi frozen meals I’ve tried. So, I was really excited to find these pocket bread sandwiches at my grocery store. I just tried the Chicken Rustico sandwich; the Chicken, spinach, roasted red peppers & crimini mushrooms, all sounded delicious! But I found most of those great flavors got lost in the saltiness of the white wine & tomato sauce filling. I’m not bothered by the health factor so much, but I feel the saltiness really took away from the natural flavors of the ingredients. I also bought the Turkey Fiesta pocket bread sandwich to try next.

I absolutely love the Chicken Rustico pocket sandwhich!! It’s great for a quick easy tasty and healthy lunch or dinner. I keep a couple in my freezer at all times. Please dont’ change the recipe after a while – they taste fine the way that they are.

I just tried this and thought the overall flavor & texture was nice but I agree that it’s slacking on the chicken – definitely needs a LOT more! The very few meat pieces it had were so small & almost tasteless. It tasted more like chicken broth or something rather than actual chicken itself. I also felt it was a little too salty for me, but some extra chicken would’ve compromised for that. Some pros to this pocket sandwich are: shorter cooking time, takes up less freezer space, & it’s slightly cheaper than the other entrees – yet it still makes up a whole meal (calorie-wise). Kashi, if you would be so kind to add more chicken chunks to this product then I would be satisfied with it & willing to eat it more often. Until then I probably won’t buy this again…only because it didn’t really fill me up.

I thought it was very yummy. ,Though I must admit (like some others) that I wish it had more chicken in it. There are possibly shreds of chicken, but nothing like the picture on the box, I was pleasantly surprised at how soft the bread was after “nuking” and how little time it took to heat up. Overall, I like it and would buy it again. It’s great as a work lunch.

I wanted something healthy and easy for lunch after my husband went back to work after our 2nd baby. These sandwich pockets are perfect ! My two year old insists on ‘i bite now” every time he sees me eating one ! Veggie is scrumptious !

I really enjoyed the taste, texture and portion size of this product. My big concern is the amount of sodium. 670mg or 28% of the recommended daily intake of salt is a lot for the amount of food being consumed. Kashi…can you please reduce the sodium! Even a reduction of 100-200 mg would help!!!
