Tuscan Veggie Bake is a delicious alternative to the traditional lasagna. I loved the veggies especially the sweet potatoes layered between whole grain noodles with the tomato and white sauces. This meal is very filling and very enjoyable to eat because I know that it is healthy and nutritious!

I agree with jay27. Could be a great product if tweaked. So spicy I need a few glasses of water with it but the concept of a vegan dish with lots of vegetables is very appealing to me. I wish someone from product development would read this site.

As someone who doesn’t eat meat and who avoids dairy, these frozen meals have been a lifesaver. The Tuscan Veggie Bake is excellent, very hearty and the sauce is delicious!

This is the first frozen Kashi frozen meal I have tried. Boy, am I glad I did! It was so tasty and satisfying. I’m not going to lie – I love meat and I did not miss it with this meal. So many flavors and textures….delicious!

This was one of the best entrees I’ve ever enjoyed – frozen or not! It was flavorful and filling, and the veggies and pasta held their texture beautifully. The red onions actually crunched! My only wish is that the sodium was a bit lower. I’ll definitely be buying this one again.

Really not bad, and thats coming from someone who isn’t afraid to say he LOVES meat. I just figured that if I eat Vegan a few times a day, then hopefully i’ll save a few critters in my lifetime. Maybe that will help my Karma. lol

I just finished munching this one down for my dinner tonight while on the road for my work…
Great sauce, wonderful protein complement and its Vegan!!
I love the fact that Kashi is making more Vegan selections, they are giving Amy’s frozen foods a run for their money when it comes to Vegan frozen entree’s in my opinion.

I looked at the box and thought, “Vegan lasagna, eh?” I had my biases initially, but it’s new so I had to try it. I was VERY pleasantly surprised. The vegetables are crisp-tender (albeit the eggplant skin is a little tough to chew in spots) and the noodles are the perfect texture. The sauce is spicy, and the beans and lentils give it that creamy mouth feel – effectively replacing cheese that would commonly be in lasagna. What a great vegan option! Hoping Kashi comes out with something Middle Eastern or Indian!

Tuscan Veggie Bake (TVB) is one of my all-time Kashi favorites. Absolutely delicious and I loved the zesty basil tomato sauce! Heaven meet TVB!

Not yet availabe where I am. Not sure if I’ll try it. Never had eggplant and would be willing to try it, but those pesky red onions are in there and …. I just don’t know.

This is awesome! It is the absolute best frozen entree I have ever had. Great spices, garlic and peppers! I hope kashi continues to raise the bar on the vegetarian/vegan frozen entree market.

Though I have some suggestions for improvement, overall this is quite delicious. First off, the package doesn’t mention there are actually two sauces: tomato sauce and white sauce. I absolutely ADORED the tomato sauce and LITERALLY licked it off the plate, however I didn’t really like the white sauce at all- I despise most sauces of this type. I was just reading the ingredients trying to figure out how they could put an alfredo-type sauce in a vegan entree (as such sauces are usually loaded with butter, cream, and cheese)- its difficult to tell but I think it was made from white beans. In addition, being a sweet potato addict I was disappointed with the texture and the flavor of the sweet potatoes in the dish; besides, they just seemed out of place in an Italian-inspired meal. However, the rest of the dish was just to die for!!! Incredible noodles, incredible sauce, incredible vegetables. If I could give this dish a remake I would remove white sauce and sweet potatoes and increase everything else, especially the roasted eggplant.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: I ADORE the noodles in kashi entrees and appreciate that the pasta dishes aren’t loaded with excessive cheese. I think kashi should: create more 1. cheese-less noodle dishes (like this one) and 2. start selling their noodles separately.
Thanks for making healthy delicious kashi!

This is definitely my least favorite and I do love the frozen dinners. As a matter of fact, I take one to work for my lunch almost every day. I didn’t like the flavor and I didn’t like the texture. Taking this one comlpetely off my list!

This was gross. Had a mushy-watery texture. Was a bit spicy, but the overall flavor was just bad. Would never buy it again. Good thing I got it for free with the coupon that was offered on this site.
