of all the kashi frozen meals that i’ve tried, this one pleased me the least. boring. i added some grated romano and it was much improved. i probably won’t buy this particular meal again, but only because i love the others so much more… taste is subjective-don’t go by me!
I tried the Garden Vegetable Pasta last night. I keep hoping I will have a positive experience with the Kashi frozen entrees. In the past I’ve tried the Pesto Primavera and the Black Bean Mango, and was disappointed with both. They had strong, bitter flavors that were very unpleasant.
The Garden Vegetable is not bad, but it’s not memorable either. Doesn’t taste all that different from other frozen brands such as Lean Cuisine. I would expect something more distinctive from Kashi. Also, the beans were undercooked.
But I was thrilled yesterday at Publix when I saw that Kashi has added some new vegan entrees. I bought the Tuscan Bake but have not tried it yet. And now that I’ve read all the rave reviews about the Mayan Bake, I realize I should have bought that one. I’ll have to go back to the store and get it. I really hope these two new products will be better than the other Kashi entrees I have tried. I’ve been mystified as to why most Kashi products (granola bars, waffles, cookies, etc.) taste so delicious but the frozen entrees (at least up to this point) have been unremarkable or downright awful.
I loved it. Perfect combination of flavors. The veggies were perfectly cooked. Great Vegan meal!
I usually rave about how great Kashi frozen meals are but this one was not good at all. I couldn’t even finish it. Love everything else.
When they don’t have my favorite flavors, I’ll settle for this one. It’s not bad, it’s just not great.
The garden vegetable pasta has great flavor, its wonderful that it is Vegan. I also like the beans they give it a nice addition.
I travel allot and it is nice to just drop into most stores here in the pacific northwest and find this good food in the freezer.
I LOVE this one !!!!!
It’s a proper amount of pasta. It has a good flavored sauce. And the white beans they use are Awsome!
It’s a great dinner.
I definitely love this one! Delicious!
This one was pretty good! I’ve been disappointed with other Kashi meals, but I was able to finish this one. I’ll probably buy this again.
I really liked it, delicious ! I can’t say I’ve ever been disappointed by any Kashi product. Thanks for making healthy, tasty food !
Another great Kashi product! Thank you for making high-fiber, healthy ready-made meal options.
Garden Vegetable Pasta entree is delicious! I loved the yellow squash and broccoli with the nutty whole grain penne and white navy beans. The flavor of the garlic sauce is delightful and meshed very well with the pasta and veggies. I added some parmesan cheese and enjoyed every bit of the meal!
I was trying to check out the nutritional facts for my seriously strict diet from my dietician.. this Garden Vegatable Pasta nutrition panel button takes you to the original crackers nutrion panel!!! waves at web guys can you fix this so i know if I can get it? pwease???? ;-)
This is my favorite of the pasta entrees. I used to like the Chicken Pasta Pomodoro, but the chicken never tastes good anymore. I’ve never had the pesto one, but I don’t really like cheese much. This one’s pretty good, and I’m glad it doesn’t have chicken. You should make a new pasta one with a spicy red sauce and shrimp. Shrimp is my favorite meat (I don’t eat red meat or pork) and I’m disappointed that you got rid of the shrimp entree you had.
