Pesto Pasta Primavera is a delicious vegetarian option. I really enjoyed the pleasant and savory flavor of the basil pesto sauce with the nutty flavor of the multigrain pasta and veggies. However I would like to have had a more peas and parmesan cheese, but overall this meal is very filling and satisfying.

This frozen dinner was out of this world good. It kept me more full than any other frozen meal I’ve ever had and tasted fresh.

I hated this one, this is the least flavorful pesto I’ve ever had.

Love this one!!! I’m so glad Kashi came out with a pesto entree since I’m not a big fans of red sauces with pasta.

Wow – really dissapointing :( I love so many of the Kashi meals and this one left me wanting to go eat a cheeseburger. The Pesto was bland and the noodles were hard and well…. I’m just bummed.

Agreed, this dish is very salty, and at times it can be overwhelming. But, other than that, it has pleasant flavors and cooks nicely — although I found that stirring it twice as opposed to just once helped the noodles to cook more thoroughly.

This is my favorite frozen dish of all time. I add a little veggie chicken in there and it’s absolutely amazing!

The food giant Kelloggs bought Kashi 9 years ago. Kashi is not health food. KASHI IS NOT HEALTH FOOD – IT’S OWNED BY KELLOGGS AND IT IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU – IT’S FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE – IT’S NOT ‘ECO-FRIENDLY’ IT’S NOT ‘BALANCED’ IT’S NOTHING BUT A SCAMA SCAM TO CASH IN ON THE HEALTH FOOD CRAZE

I guess I’m in the minority, but I can’t say that I would recommend the Pesto Pasta Primavera. I’ve got love for Kashi, but this entree was a bit of a disappointment.

I found this to be satisfying. The peas were a little on the “not mushy enough” side. But other than that an all around good dish. The Mayan Harvest Bake is the best yet!

This one is ok. It always gives me acid burps for some reason, but if my favorites are sold out I’ll eat this one.

I really liked the pesto sauce, but wasn’t loving the carrots. They were a little to crunchy for me, but I can be kind of weird about texture. This won’t be one of my go to meals, but I might try it again sometime.

My first try. Quite tasty, but I have two comments:

RE sodium: way too much sodium.(the amount of sodium is suitable for a shared side dish for two)

RE peas: I found the peas very mushy. Actually, if you are going to use peas, petite peas would be a much better choice. Also – might be better if they were packaged separately and added during the second half of cooking. Frozen peas need very little cooking.

Wow, this meal had EVERTHING in it! It’s Lenten season, which means no meat on Friday’s for me. I spotted this meal in the store and was caught by it’s unique feautres. Plus, you guys had me sold with the whole grain pasta :) The flavor was perfect, and the texture amazing. I imagine for a typical person, this meal would also be very filling. Though being an endurance athlete, I added a side of grilled shrimp and pineapple, which balanced out the meal nicely (plus gave me a tad more protein).

Overall, I am very pleased! And I also just got my free entree cupon in the mail today, so plan on heading out to the grocery store to take advantage of it. If I don’t find another good meatless entree by Kashi, I know that this one is a fabulous standby :) Thank you for making such a delectable, yet healthy meal! Keep ‘em coming, Kashi!
