I just had this for dinner for the first time – it’s very good! The veggies cook nicely and the sauce is excellent!

I wasn’t a believer in frozen meals until I now!
This ROCKS!

I did not enjoy this at all due to the very salty taste. Why is it necessary to put so much sodium in frozen foods? I mostly cook everything from scratch but would enjoy the convenience of frozen meals if they weren’t so salty tasting.

This entree is good, it’s just missing something. I had my sister, who’s in culinary school, taste it and she thought the same thing. Don’t know what it’s missing though. Less salt would be great too!

For those of you wondering I found this at my local Walmart. The flavor is soooo good. I love the whole grain pasta and the pesto sauce is amazing. There was a large volume of sauce so every piece was covered and it left me wanting to grab a piece of bread to dunk in it. The veggies were crisp and fresh, even the peas were crisp. I LOVE THIS DISH!

I liked this meal very much. To bulk it up AND lessen the saltiness, i cut up some broccoli and threw it in when i lifted the plastic to stir it up. It made it feel less greasy, too.

This one was decent but not pretty. The sauce was a little strong for my taste, but the crunch from the carrots was nice. I guess they threw some peas in just because? Probably won’t keep this one on my list.

such a tasty basil pesto sauce. I was hesitant to try this one because the media says pasta makes you fat. I also have a history of migraines from eating heavy breads and pasta. somethign about the whole grains used to make this pasta really does last you through the day. Its so fillign and sustaining, that I find it hard to get in my veggie and fruit daily snacks! I have no problems with digesting this meal, other pastas I cant, but this one is perfectly healthy!

I like this dish – the pesto and peas are Yum and the multigrain pasta has a nice nutty taste and texture. One thing – please reduce the salt. It should not be necessary to put 750g of salt into a meal. People can add their own salt if they want more. When I see high salt values I wonder whether the manufacturer is trying to cover a lack of actual taste. This dish doesn’t need a cover up..

This is one of my favorite frozen meals, and quite a few brands and types are in my freezer! I agree with previous posters that I wish the sodium content was less, as the salt sometimes overpowers the pesto taste. But I do love that the veggies are still crunchy and not mushy, and the whole grain penne tastes great and isn’t overcooked at all.

I love the Pesto Pasta Primavera. As a vegetarian, it is difficult in my small town to find frozen meals to fit my healthy eating plan.

The Pesto Pasta is my new favorite frozen entree. The vegetables are perfectly prepared and the sauce is divine. Normally, I’m not a fan of pesto, but this is delicious! I buy it at Publix in Atlanta.

Wow, this meal had EVERTHING in it! It’s Lenten season, which means no meat on Friday’s for me. I spotted this meal in the store and was caught by it’s unique feautres. Plus, you guys had me sold with the whole grain pasta :) The flavor was perfect, and the texture amazing. I imagine for a typical person, this meal would also be very filling. Though being an endurance athlete, I added a side of grilled shrimp and pineapple, which balanced out the meal nicely (plus gave me a tad more protein).

Overall, I am very pleased! And I also just got my free entree cupon in the mail today, so plan on heading out to the grocery store to take advantage of it. If I don’t find another good meatless entree by Kashi, I know that this one is a fabulous standby :) Thank you for making such a delectable, yet healthy meal! Keep ‘em coming, Kashi!

My first try. Quite tasty, but I have two comments:

RE sodium: way too much sodium.(the amount of sodium is suitable for a shared side dish for two)

RE peas: I found the peas very mushy. Actually, if you are going to use peas, petite peas would be a much better choice. Also – might be better if they were packaged separately and added during the second half of cooking. Frozen peas need very little cooking.

I really liked the pesto sauce, but wasn’t loving the carrots. They were a little to crunchy for me, but I can be kind of weird about texture. This won’t be one of my go to meals, but I might try it again sometime.

This one is ok. It always gives me acid burps for some reason, but if my favorites are sold out I’ll eat this one.

I found this to be satisfying. The peas were a little on the “not mushy enough” side. But other than that an all around good dish. The Mayan Harvest Bake is the best yet!
