”...the manufacturing plant in Atlanta has been badly damaged by floodwaters”
One plant? You got one plant making a vital national resource like this? This time it’s a flood, next it’s a tornado, then the terrorists figure out what we like for breakfast. Do I have to spell it out? Don’t put all your waffles in one basket. Doing business like that is just a bad joke. Take your capital and build at least two plants. No wonder other countries are eating our lunch. Soon they’ll be eating our breakfast!

wow— what a major marketing error. not only will I not care about your waffles in 2011, I’ll be careful not to like any of your products too much in case you decide to yank them. Hard to believe they’re only made in one location. It’s too bad—there are no other frozen waffles even close as far as taste and nutrition.

Hi wafflelady-I just called the # above & was told that the manufacturing plant in Atlanta has been badly damaged by floodwaters. Apparently Eggo shares the same facility & has also had flooding issues. Don’t blame Kashi! They know we’re waffle dependent & going through withdrawal & want to get back up to speed ASAP.

You are going to seek a substitute brand? Ha! All of the freezer sections here in Florida are bare! Want eggos? Too bad.

I really miss the blueberry Kashi waffles! These were the best ever. Please bring these back asap.

Who’s braniac idea was it to make the decision to upgrade your facilities and stop production of a successful product until… 2011?! And why do they still have a job?! That’s not what I would call a “temporary shortage”. Your pushing your customers to seek out a substitute brand.

Hi there! Wanted to let you know that we’re experiencing a temporary waffle shortage, and this may be the reason you’re having difficulty finding Heart to Heart Waffles in your local stores.

The note above with the headline, “We’re experiencing waffle woes!” explains in greater detail. We are as eager as you are to get waffles back in groceries nationwide, and sincerely hope this won’t take long.

Thanks for being fans of Kashi foods!

I too was wondering if these heart to heart waffles were missing. They are a breakfast staple. People generally ask me about them when I have a cart filled with so many boxes. I am so glad they are not gone for good.

Wow, I am so glad to see I am not the only one searching for these waffles. I’ll have to head to our Whole Foods to see if there are any left! http://soireesandshenanigans.blogspot.com/2010/01/waffles-woes.html

My family loves these waffles but I also cannot find them at my local market (HarrisTeeter in NC) or even Walmarts. But… yes, I did finally go to Whole Foods this past weekend and they had noth Strawberry and Blueberry.. which I love as well. So I grabbed 10 boxes of each, which was pretty much all they had. Perhaps try your local Whole Foods Market, maybe they’ll have them too.

I am very sad and stressed out because the Heart to Heart waffles are no where to be found in my area. Target, Walmart and the grocery stores are out of them due to the recent shortage. These waffles are so important to my kids (ages 2 and 4) nutrition. They will not eat scrambled eggs or oatmeal and they are not big fans of smoothies. It is going to be difficult to give them a quick, easy, nutritious breakfast without the Kashi waffles!

I feel your pain. I can’t find these anywhere and these waffles are a staple in the diet of my 2 and 3 year olds (and me!).

In light of the shortage of Eggo waffles recently, I decided to try the Kashi Heart to Heart honey oat waffles. I will never go back to Eggo Nutri Grain waffles! These Kashi waffles are the best and like one of the reviewers love them with a little peanut butter on top, sometimes with a few banana slices too!

Heart to Heart Waffles are the most perfect food in the world. I consume around 4 boxes of them a week. They make excellant wholesome sandwiches, a quick treat (a little peanut butter) and I cannot recommend this product more highly. Half my neighborhood is now buying them everyone just raves about them. My elderly neighbors truly enjoy the high fiber: me too

Being diabetic its sometimes hard to find a sweet treat but with these waffles all you need is some sugar free syrup and your set. Plus the whole grains don’t cause your sugar to spike. YAY Waffles!

I’m not sure if I tried THIS waffle yet, if did, has been awhile. I need to try it again. I am sure it is really good.

I loved the strawberry go lean! waffles, and I’m excited about trying these out as well. They look delicious. One thing I wish you would do is put MORE in the box. For the price of these waffles, there should at least be 8 in there! 6 is a very paltry amount. :(

These waffles have the best flavor. I eat them by themselves, no butter, no syrup. I just pop them in the toaster, and eat them on the way to work. They are easy and healthy! Great product.
