I am trying to find a healthy protein bar that is low in sugar. I love this bar, but the sugar content is too high for me.
That is way too much sugar; it’s about twice the amount of protein!
Tried the toffee bar today, a little too sweet for me, but I do love the oatmeal raisin cookie bar!
they seem like they have too many calories for a little chewy bar. it seems smarter to buy the crunchy bars
I have not heard about this one… I LOVE toffee! I’m going to have to try to find it!
I am very happy that Koshi offers other kinds of bars with 5-6 grams of sugar/bar. I purchased these chewy bars without checking the label because I assumed it would be healthy. Basically, 4 grams of sugar is equivalent to one teaspoon and with 31 grams/serving, this bar contains roughly 8 teaspoons of sugar! WOW that’s crazy. I won’t eat these again.
The chocolate malt is my personal favorite but the oatmeal is a close second. I used these as a dietary aid in losing my baby weight. I gained 36 pounds and have lost all but 6 in four months, using the bars for a meal at breakfast. Honestly, I am a calories in vs. calories out gal and it works for me. I was DEVASTATED when my local Target stopped carrying them. I have one left in the draw and will have to survive off boring cereal until I can find more =(.......
Not to mention, these bars save my bacon with two young children. I can use these for a one-handed lunch on the run with some fruit if I am too busy to sit down to a regular lunch, which happens more than I care to admit.
Problem is, these bars have fractionated palm kernal oil which is really unhealthy. Google it and read up on it if you are not familiar.
just tried the peanut butter & chocolate (my first bar ever!) I really liked the flavor, and the density. Can’t wait to try the other flavors! The sugar doesnt scare me away… I think it has just enough! I’d like to be able to purchase a mixed box of different flavors, but haven’t found them in stores near me yet….

I am going to try this. I love the fact that all your products contain good complex carbs and non- refined sugars. FYI people who are bashing the carbs and sugars. These are good carbs that your body burns and uses. Eating too many simplex carbs are bad for you. Your body stores them as fat.
love the flavors .would like lower sugar content
I absolutely love the oatmeal raisin cookie bars!
OK, but way too much sugar and carbs.
31 grams of sugar!!!!! Wow!
I love all of the chewy bars. The peanut butter one is the best.
NO it isn’t!
