I found both the Moroccan Curry and Fiery Fiesta at my local Big Lots, had to try the curry first. Normally, I would have eaten the entire package at one sitting, but learning portion control is becoming easier. One pouch made 2 lunches for me, one day with salad, the other day with soup. Subtle flavors, not too overpowering, and I will keep looking for this product, for sure!
i just got the plain one, and I like this mix! It’s exactly the same mix that they put in the frozen meals. I just added frozen broccoli and sun-dried tomatoes and yum!
YUMMMMM! I mixed this in with my salad, and even had the leftovers the next day cold in my salad..great!
Its really good but it has Palm Kenal Oil in it and that’s not good.
Absolutely delicious! Try adding some pan seared veggies to it and you’ve got a meal!
I love the Morrocan Curry Pilaf, I couldn’t find it at my local stores so I buy it by the case at Amazon.com.
Anyone in or near Shreveport, Louisiana find this? It sounds fabulous.
I use the Morrocan pilaf to stuff roasted vegetables; at our last dinner I used it with butternut squash and was amazed how many of my guests became Kashi-lovers! I hope that the Kashi team is working on new versions – - I use the plain pilaf & make my own versions / additions when I have time, but the Morrocan pilaf works on everything from a quick vegan cold salad to dinner parties on short notice.
Kashi is awesome
This was on sale at our big lots _ I bought 2 packets and it’s great – I work a 12 hour day and this is wonderful to pop in our microwave and eat quickly and nutritiously – I added a dab of sour cream. I will go back and buy whatever is left!!
We serve it topped with a salmon fillet and a side of steamed whole green beans. Oh yum! In fact, that will be our dinner tomorrow night.
how does it have such a long shelf life if the item is precooked? i throw out cooked rice after 3 days, how come this doesn’t go off for ages?!
again, I’ll keep an eye out b/c it sounds great!
I was expecting a bit more of a coconut flavor, but it was still really good. I like it alone, but I’m going to look into integrating it into my every-day cooking. I come from a “meat & potatoes” family and this, along with the Kashi cereal has helped me start eating healthier – at least for breakfast & lunch.
I love the Moroccan Curry pilaf which I have been buying at Target’s the only store in my area of east-central Floria to carry it. Sadly they will no longer be carring it. I bought all they had, and now I find there are no other stores within 60 miles selling it. Does this mean it is discontinued?
I hear ya, I just found this on clearance at my local Target for .63 a pouch, I bought all 8 packs that were left..loved it!
Inspired by a lettuce cup appetizer I had at a “Silk Roads” themed dinner, I combined the Moroccan pilaf with lean ground beef and added a little soy sauce. Then, I rolled the mixture up in red swiss chard leaves and ate it like a burrito. Eating difficulties aside, it tasted great! The pilaf is excellent on its own, but it’s a super fast addition to other recipes. Great job Kashi!
tastes amazing as is w. a drop of salt
Love this for a quick, healthy lunch. Add chicken and it’s great too! And the convenience could not be any easier.
It is so good!
I don’t see where this contains any animal products!
I LOVE THIS :)!!! Flavorful – my taste buds are very happy. I couldn’t wait for the next bite. WOWeeeeee! Keep it coming!
I really wanted to love this… but I didn’t… :(
