Brush it off

Submitted by ameliabedelia19
Challenge Yourself for: 24 Hours

Challenge yourself to try this spa-worthy exfoliating treatment at home: brush your skin. Use a soft-bristle brush or a dry loofah to gently trace small circles on your skin. Start with the soles of your feet and work towards the heart, avoiding sensitive areas. Follow up with an invigorating shower and moisturize afterwards.

I have those awesome exfoliating gloves that I get at Henry’s. They make it so easy!

Thanks for the reminder! I’ve gotten lazy over the past several months doing anything even remotely close to this!

I’m recovering from H1N1, too, and my skin got very, very dry as well. Just showering feels great. Can’t wait to try this tonight! Thanks for this great idea.

I’m glad that you are recovering! Take good care of yourself. THAT is a scary kind of influenza! Just before entering military service (now 33 yrs ago, May 1976), I got sick with the Swine Flu! Wish I could’ve given it back to the “swine”! I was delayed to enter service (U.S. Army) because of it, but spent 22 1/2 yrs on active duty, retiring on Dec 31, 1998.

I’m going to do this in just a bit! I’ve been down with H1N1 for 2+ weeks & nothing is helping my dry, dry skin!! Don’t know why I didn’t think of this, I’ve done it before & it does work! Thanks for the reminder!

I do this everytime I shower! I have the softest skin all over my body & I am 60yo. I read that this will increase circulation, help decrease cellulite and help to rid the body of dry flaky skin. It works for me & leaves a nice tingling sensation.
