Wear something sustainable
You're probably familiar with fabric made from hemp, but have you heard of Piña— a fabric made from pineapples? Did you know it’s also possible to create fabrics from renewable materials such as soybeans, bamboo, and banana leaves? As you shop for new clothes and home furnishings, challenge yourself to recognize sustainable fabrics and support manufacturers of these products when possible.

Awesome brands like Prana and Patagonia make this so easy!
Where can I buy bamboo yarn, organic t-shirts, etc.? I didn’t know these items were ‘out there’.
Oh goodness, there is a whole amazing world out there of sustainable products. I would look at yarn.com for the yarn. American Apparel makes great organic t-shirts and so does Patagonia. These days you can even check out places like Target for organic products.
Another great resource is treehugger.com.
Have fun!
I’ve decorated my home with items made from banana leaves, i. e., bowls, mates, tissue box holders, etc. also several things made with soy resin.
I have used bamboo yarn to crochet.
I have organic t-shirts that I can not live without.
HOW DO I FIND CLOTHES MADE FROM HEMP? PLS EMAIL ME AT gypsy081657@rocketmail.com
Bamboo towels are heavenly….I am looking for a good source of other fabrics incorporating bamboo. I think it would be a great fabric to use in making jackets, and sweaters.
Try knitting with bamboo, it’s really nice.
