Say no to jitters
If you’re looking for an energy boost, you might be tempted to reach for a natural drink made from botanical sources like guarana, yerba mate, kola nut, or green tea. But you could end up with a case of the jitters too. That’s because these ingredients naturally contain caffeine. Challenge yourself today to find natural alternatives to the beverages you normally consume that contain caffeine. Here’s a refreshing idea for starters: try making a pitcher of caffeine-free herbal tea and “spiking” it with a splash of fruit juice and sparkling water.

I love, love Yerba Mate but I was finding that my heart rate seemed like it was beating fast since I was drinking the tea often. Instead, I mix it up. I drink mate on some days and an herbal tea on others.
I have actually started a “no coffee” month. I am trying to drink more green tea but that also has caffeine too. I am surprised at how challenging this is and how much coffee I actually drink per day. I wasn’t an addict but there were times when I felt like I needed the coffee to get through the day….I will stick with the green tea and then ween myself off of that to something with no caffeine.
I’ve replaced caffeine drinks with non caffeine ones that I mix with orange/mango and sparkling H2O. One may also add a few drops of Bing cherry concentrate.
I absolutely love tea. There are so many different kinds.
Off to get my grande cafe mocha vodka valium latte.. NOT!
I am drinking less coffee at working and I am instead bringing my own herbal teas and soy milk
Green Tea never gives me jitters try green tea powder if you feel brewing is a hassle even better health benefits too.
I also do instant decaf with soy milk… I love coffee too, but that drink helps :)
I CAN’T I LOVE COFFEE.
Me too! But I have cut back on how much I drink and drink lots of water throughout the day.
Instead of drinking coffee, I made a caffeine free iced coffee with soy milk.
