Clear the air with a plant
Houseplants not only look pretty and add a sense of life to a home, they also have the potential to filter the air you breathe. Some varieties can even remove toxins like formaldehyde, tobacco smoke, and benzene! Today, challenge yourself to invest in some flora with an eye to maximizing air quality. English ivy, Gerber daisies, chrysanthemums, bamboo, spider plant, ficus, peace lilies, and devil’s ivy are known to be good filtering varieties.

This wasn’t a challenge at all because I love plants. I have plants at work on my desk, my window seals, my file cabinets, and I have some in my bosses office. It’s a good thing my boss like plants as much as I do. It has gotten so bad at work, that my plants have spilled over to my home as well.
This was an easy challenge. I already have a bunch of plants in my house.
Treat all your friends to a spider plant, very easy to transplant the babies..
I have a few orchids, but I just got a HUGE indoor tropical plant to join the family. It’s a fun and bold addition.
I have a spider plant that survied a fire when I lost my home in 1998 the plant is still growing and looks great loves the south window the best. Yes I did have to transplant it every few years.
I have a ton of plants in my house, wish I had room for more.

I enjoy plants. I have many of them at my desk at work, but not at home. I will stop by the florist and get some this evening!
