This is a good occasional method. But I find am even better thing for whitening is to use GlyOxide(which you can buy at the grocery/pharmacy store for $5-$10) It’s the same stuff dentists use to whiten teeth, just not as high of a concentration. First time I used it I had amazing results.

I’ve also been doing this for years ,I brush as least 4 times a week with baking soda mixed with a little peroxide. Easy for me .

I fell out of the habit. This is a gentle reminder to start a few times a week again. I agree with the Hydrogen Peroxide and also gargle/rinse with white vinegar (not everyday though). It helps breakdown plaque buildup.

I am very particular about my teeth I brush 3 times (sometimes 4) a day along with flossing & using a whitening toothpaste and pre rinse. I use teeth whiteners every six months. I always have a good report at my clean ups at the dentists I have tried the baking soda, I do not care for the grit or taste but it works very well & I do use it now as part of my cleaning about twice a week.

I too have done this for a few years now — ever since Arm and Hammer mentioned it on television. And, a couple times a month I add a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. The bubbling effect adds to the whiteness of my teeth, kills germs and freshens my breath.

I’ve used baking soda for years. Hydrogen Peroxide is good too, just don’t try it with baking soda!

Brushing my teeth with baking soda really did get my teeth whiter. I also like to use arm and hammer toothpaste with baking soda

My family has used baking soda for years! I do try to give my teeth a break and only use it 3-4x/wk-my teeth tend to get sensitive. You teeth will feel like you’ve just had them cleaned!
