Not a green thumb? Plant a tree. Hate getting wet? Sing in the rain. Is there something you just can’t stand the idea of doing? Today, make an effort to face up to your fears, misgivings, or repulsions by giving something you dislike a second chance. Although you may not always end up embracing it, you may learn something about yourself and your limits.

I know this is an old challenge, but it’s still a good one. Today I am cleaning my room. I know that sounds ridiculous, but cleaning my bedroom is repulsive to me. It just gets to an overwhelming point because of my busy lifestyle.
I absolutely hate hate hate the snow and of course what does it do last night? Nothing but snow 14 inches…so i went out there this morning and shovelled the patio, deck, drive way, and sidewalk..omg what torture!
I also forget my green bags when I go shopping, so I usually end up buying more of them!! I’m going to have to do the same thing – “put them back” so I’ll have them next time!
I did accomplish my green run today.
i remembered my reuseable “green” bags when i got ready to go grocery shopping! i’m going to get in the habit of putting them back in the trunk as soon as i unload them.
Yes I did go shopping and amazingly I made it back. But Of course It always happens… I ended up at fast food and had a mailshake AND french fries and a baked potato with chili which was the good part lol

Today I’m going to pick up a book that I’ve already started and never finished, despite it being pretty interesting!!
I’m going to gather all my recyclables and make a “green” run.
I am going to run around my neighborhood, I don’t ever exersize!
I can’t stand running in the cold weather. It’s supposed to be around 50 degrees today and I run on the tredmill almost every day…so today’s the day! After work, I’m going to go for a run in the city!! =]
I actually started on the treadmill today. I’m going to log it in my journal every other day for a week and then try for 6 days a week
I am working on getting magazines and newspapaers read and recycled and start redoing my bedroom with me doing the redoing
I am going to figure out how to fix the drippy kitchen faucet (don’t worry, i catch the drips and water my plants and the cats).
I’m going to critically read my theory articles instead of re-reading Native poetry for the hundredth time and dance around my kitchen in an out-of-season dress.
I went for a run around my neighborhood.
Today… I am going to forget there are a MILLION things to do inside and go to the beach. I will walk, breathe, and listen to the sounds of the world surrounding me… simply and quietly.
I,m going to see a personal trainer today and maybe sign up for fitness sessions,maybe!
I’m going to try to get things done on campus instead of avoiding them :P
I am going to try to stay away from the jar of Nutella in my pantry today. I usually have a scoop a day of it, but it’s getting out of control! I’m going to try to avoid it today and actually for the whole week!
I am going to give cottage cheese a second chance. It’s gross, but I’ll try it.
