Spread the word about rice
If you’re good at vocabulary, you can work those words and donate rice via the UN World Food Program at the same time. FreeRice is a unique project that enables you to take a vocabulary test in order to donate food. For every word you get right, the organization donates 20 grains of rice to the hungry – and you test the limits of your knowledge. Today, challenge yourself to spend a few minutes with this generous philanthropy tool. And spread the word.

I love this game! Fun and doing a good deed at the same time!
Free rice has gotten me through long hours of shift work and boredom. It is a great game for a great cause.
Free rice is so much fun. You can even test your vocabulary in other languages. Everyone wins!
What a great way to combine free education and raise awareness on world hunger. I’ll admit I did have some SAT flashbacks. At least there is no time limit!
What a terrific cause and a fun thing at the same time. Anythingthat helps others is a
great cause.

I was as the free rice site prior to coming to Kashi site – I love it – It’s one of those win win
scenarios. You get to play a fun game while increasing your vocabulary and it has that wonderful, feel good neurotransmitter release that occurs when you do kind things. What could be kinder than
helping to feed hungry people? Gotta love it (almost as much as Kashi cookies)!
The game is really fun, not ALWAYS easy, but if you are good with words, you can feed a lot of people.
