Be good to yourself
In the next 24 hours, set aside 10 minutes for yourself. Take a hot bath, drink a cup of tea, or meditate. The point is to show yourself a little kindness. You’ll appreciate it.

I locked myself in my bedroom and read a book I have been trying to finish for weeks. I turned on the radio to Christmas music and just read, ignoring the husband and children for 20 minutes and finished the book!
Doing something kind for others always gives me a great sense of satisfaction. Complimenting someone on a job well done. We had a special dinner the other evening and the ladies and gentlemen whom were passing out the appetizers, I made it a pount to let each one know what a great job they were doing and you could tell that made a big difference to them. No pats on the back for me, it is many times the right thing to do. I have learned that over the years!
Went for a walk today, in btw my classes. Had a break from 12:15 to 2:00 PM, so I went for a walk got some mobility in too!
Today I went for a walk around the block!
I try to squeeze in at least 10 minutes maybe 15 if I’m lucky before I need to start my homework, after school. Studying to be a business major is hard work!
I always take about 10 minutes a day to read my Bible. But today, I took a 30 minute nap after I was done. It’s amazing how invigorating a short nap can be!
I am going to school and sometimes when it is exam times, my life is just eat, sports, study, sleep and studay again . I will really try to squeeze in some me-time when school resumes.
Oh I so need to do this. I have a 4 month old, and I never seem to have time to just sit and be me because I am always trying to catch up on something around the apartment…
took a long shower
I took time today, sat quietly at home, read a book, listened to music, and burned some incense…totally relaxing day…
I made myself a relaxing bath before I went to work. Then my husband and I went fishing together. It was nice sitting next to eachother in silence and getting excited for eachother when the other got a bite. After fishing I took a long hot shower. So over all it was a really relaxing day.

I take time to read each day
I took a few days off for a long weekend to reflect on myself ,and to honestly ask myself what it is I want from life…Or in other words, what it is that makes me really happy…And how I can possibly pursue a convergent life that syncronizes my personal and professional life in harmony…. That creates a synergy b/w those two for the good of myself and society…For a better, more meaningful life….Loved it!! The little child deep inside enjoyed the special attention and promised to behave:)...Me? I feel renewed!
I actually took the time out today and took a nice hot bath and got some peace of mind, and talked to God.
woke up, worked out, banged out a few work things (also from home in my PJs), sent some emails re my entrance into my first year of graduate school in a month (yikes!)... taking the rest of the day off, so now I can relax a bit until heading to my grandmum’s to do yard work (and of course a delicious homemade lunch!)
oops I meant to say lavender candle. Although burning a calendar may be a good way to take my mind off my busy schedule, especially if it is lavender scented ;)
