Make a recommendation to your local market
Supermarkets are always soliciting customer feedback, but have you ever given any? Most markets are happy to stock desired products, particularly if they know regular shoppers will make a special trip to buy them. Challenge yourself to request natural foods at your market and raise the awareness of natural foods.

Three weeks ago I requested our local HyVee to stock the sugar free raspberry Torani syrup (they had three flavors none sugar free); less than a week later it was on the shelf. Last week I requested they concider getting unsweetened dried currants which are available at a competitor located in a town 45 miles away. Today I’ll see if they did; if not I will get them at the competitor tomorrow when in that town for another appointment. I have two other items that I specifically will be shopping for today that if they do not carry I will request. PS I always let a manager known that if they can not stock it I will be shopping at a competitor for the products; this often makes them more likely to try the product on the shelf. Of course if there are not enough other shoppers to justify having the product it will disappear again.
I never hesitate to make suggestions to my local market. They have been great about getting products for me.
I would like to be able to order Kashi’s products online and get a discount based on the annual purchases I make. Eating organic is expensive and it would really help to be able to save money and be able to order direct.
My sister started me on Kashi products. Now we always keep them stocked in the kitchen. The kids love them. Our local stores carry some Kashi products, but I’ve asked for more (and specifically asked for certain products) and I guess that the stores are not getting enough requests. We’re happy we have some, though. Thank you Kashi for helping us be more healthy and for helping our children learn that healthy does not mean tasteless. Thank you.
So far so good with Kashi being at the local stores here.
I asked Trader Joes to get agave nectar…...and they did.
...by the way, trader joes and whole foods market does a great job of stocking a variety of Kahshi foods. it’s much more costly at whole foods – not a big fan of that – but I’m glad I can always count on TJ’s!
I figure if the local grocer can stock capt’n crunch and all the other cereals laden with refined sugars – all without a request – they’d certainly stock Kahshi in response to overflow of request from local parents who want to remain customers, yet have a different alterntive for their family. GO Kahshi!
Wegman’s has the largest selection of organic produce anywhere and they source locally!
The natural food section is growing quickly now! And Thank God for companies like Kashi that are always coming out with even more products to look forward to!
