Challenge Yourself for: 30 days

Potlucks are an excellent opportunity to experience new dishes while you spend time with friends. They’re also great for expanding your recipe collection. Some tips for a successful event:
• Have everyone bring printouts of their recipes, or upload them to a group website.
• Photograph the finished dishes and email the photos to attendees for their books.
• Create a theme for the party that revolves around a particular cuisine or idea.
This month, challenge yourself to expand your recipe box and social circle at the same time.

(When logging progress for this challenge, only log as many days as you participated the activity within the 30-day time frame.)

I’m vegetarian so I love experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and making tasty treats for my non vegan friends.

How do we know and stay away from genetically modified foods in trying to eat our true simple foods? Are any of your Kashi ingredients from genetically modified sources. I heard that 95% of our corn in the US is now genetically modified and I don’t think we should be goofing with nature like Monsanto does.

Your idea for a veggie potluck is a great idea. Even better when it comes from your friends garden.

Vegetarian potlucks can encourage even those who are not “health nuts” to eat well. If even for one meal. Exchanging recipes is part of our party mode already.

I have been a vegetarian for a while now and I love making great recipes for my friends. The recipes are so good, they don’t even care they are missing the meat.
