Soak up some sun
Sun exposure contributes to our bodies’ daily production of vitamin D. In fact, it’s believed that we only need 10 minutes of sunlight everyday to meet our daily requirements. Today, challenge yourself to get outside for a few minutes and get your daily rays.
(While some people claim sunscreen prevents the body from converting sunlight into vitamin D, UV radiation is a carcinogen. Consult a physician if you have questions about how much sun to get and when to use sunscreen.)

well, as much as 100% cloudy, with wind chills of 19* & blow will allow anyway :)
Every sunny day, I will take a little walk – walking isn’t easy for me due to arthritis, but I can do 10 – 15 minutes.
I’ve been vacationing away from near below zero Massachusetts weather, so getting plenty of sun has been easy this week. =]
i wne to the park today, and if the weather permits i’ll be going tomorrow.
I am always outside living on a small farm. to me it is very thereputic to soak up some sun. I can tell a difference on rainy days that a bit of sun brightens your day. I always wear sunscreen.
I get my sun exposure and workout while cutting and splitting wood. I also walk the kids to and from school whenever possible. When I get a spare hour I like to walk the block, which is roughly 4 miles. Yeah sun, and exrcise helps me feel better.
I get my daily vitamin D while I run! This multi tasking makes me feel great!
I sit on the steps on a daily basis…especially now that the weather is a bit cooler. In the South..it can be hard to go and sit outside on some days….high humidity and such. I am thankful the weather is nicer and I can appreciate the warmth of the sun and how it effects my plants on a daily basis.
St. Ives came out with a facial cleanser that deposits SPF 10 just by washing your face! I’m very conscious of skin cancer, but love the outdoors, so when I use this cleanser, I feel confident when I sit outside for lunch.
i got my sun today by pulling weeds in my garden, as i often do. probably at least 30 minutes today.
my 4 year old and i walked to our family friends house instead of driving today.
Walked outside with my dog. YAY…i love the sun, although it was a cold day.
I walk my dog daily, streching my face to the sun. I absolutely love it!
today i went for a run and it took me 20 min and i felt absolutely wonderful after, however no sun screen cause i forgot it but i plan on keeping up with it like i usually do.
What am I to do on days there is no sun present? Perhaps… Sit in the shade of my favorite willow tree, cross-legged, pondering the meaning of life while simultaneously imagining I am soaking up every bit of sunlight possible? I think that’s what I’ll do.
too bad there’s no sun in seattle. i’ll try my best to soak up whatever’s left before the deadful and never ending rain/fog/cold/drab/gray sets in again.
I wish I could ride my bike to work, I have a 50 minute drive (hopelessly trying to find something closer since I moved!) I bring my lunch to work, eat for 10-5 minutes and then walk around the remainder of my hour long lunch break!! It’s so quite and stress releiving. I wish the weather would cool down just a little.
I take my dog for walks everyday, today I will make the walks just longer to soak up more sun
I work in my flower garden at least 30 to 60 min a day unless it rains so I guess that qualifies me for the sunlight one.
I spent 6 hours in the sun today on the job
