Sometimes this is harder when there are other people in the house, people who want to eat whatever. So instead of clearing out the whole pantry, it might be easir to clear off a shelf and use that as the place to go when looking for something to munch on.

Luckily I’m the one that’s buys the food. The cost is overwhelming to change over though. But I bought some unbleached flour that isn’t enriched and some sugar in the raw to replace the current stuff I had (although I am going to finish the other stuff, waste is bad too)

I am the grocery shopper in the house as well. There are a few items in my pantry that are of the sugary snack variety, BUT they are kid snacks. They are pretty healthy eaters considering all the tempting junk out there geared towards kids.
