I have been researching the internet to find alternative ways to clean my digestive system. I am still trying to find something I can get or make that is not a prepackaged pill.

Well, I’ve done juice fasts that seems to work quite well. Eat fruit/veggies and drink juices for 1-2 days, then just juice for 4-8 days, going back to the start for 1-2 days. It’s not fun, but it does give the digestive system a good cleanse. Drink as much water as you want on this as well.

If I had medical benefits I would try eastern medicine but unable to at this time.

I’m a little leery about information from the internet. I want to know the source. Just today a friend was telling me that she read on the internet something that just didn’t sound universal. I mean, you can say it worked for one person, but to suggest that it’s true for everyone … I like to know the source and that they are reliable.

I’ve been purchasing and reading books on alternative medicine – especially using good nutrition to stay healthy. I don’t want to cover up sickness with pain medicine and drugs, but prevent and cure sickness.

Several years ago a family memeber got hooked on Xanax after cancer treatment. She went to an Osteopathic physican who put her on Cortitrol and Melatonin to break the addiction. You need to be a smart and informed consumer, as the DO tried to put her on a bunch of other stuff, which she declined to take, but getting her of Xanax was worth the cost of the visit.
