So far this year I have donated to Multiple Sclerosis, guide dogs for the blind, and my local church. I am also gathering up some clothes and household items to donate to Goodwill.
I always donate clothing & toys that my children have outgrown. It makes me feel so good that someone else will benefit from it.
Today I donated $35 to the Walk to Defeat ALS. Will save money I’ve been spending on credit card interest to give to a health related charitable organization once per month. Animal or human health (August 2008 it was amyotrophic lateral sclerosis)
I’ve been giving regularly towards a few different animal groups for 3-4 years. I wish I could give more, including my physical self, but I can’t bear to have to see the abuse and suffering imposed on innocent animals by careless, reckless humans. I give for now, to keep those who can deal with those daily horrors, so they can provide more care and nurturing to help the precious ones heal inside and out. One day I hope to join those special angels, even if I can’t save them all, every little bit helps and it’s a good feeling in the end.
