Fit in knitting
Who hasn’t watched a knitter calmly sitting for hours on a plane or in a queue, creating something homemade and lovely? Recently, knitting is enjoying a renaissance, and classes and social groups abound. Challenge yourself to learn this meditative and useful hobby.

I would love to join this one, but I already know how to crochet, and LOVE IT! I recommend it because there are a million things you can do with crochet or knitting, and it is really starting to become popular again. I even found a pattern to make a tote out of plastic grocery bags!
I actually started crocheting another blanket today! The last one I made took me nearly 2 months to complete. I started on Christmas day 2007. I still use it to this day and I feel proud to know that it was something I stuck to and finished.
i crochet, i enjoy it when i have the time. one trick i have learned if your hands sweat, it is almost impossable to crochet, so i use baby powder to fix it.
Since I’ve already done occasional knitting of baby blankets and scarves, I am challenging myself to be more involved in the process by knitting one baby or child’s blanket a week. It would be nice to start or be involved in a group that is eager to create knitted items for families in need all over the country.
