our pools all open on Memorial Day, last year I was able to swim every day, and that’s what I plan to do this year also.

im so sad! im a beach girl, i go almost every day… but i just got my hair fixed (it was realllly damaged due to hair straightening, swimming in the ocean, and dying it) and my stylist told me i cant go in the ocean anymore or my hair will get ruined! luckily i have a pool so i should be ok as long as i dont get my hair wet.

@LeRomantique: Maybe you could try wearing a swimming cap. I live in San Francisco, and I’ve seen lots of people wearing them when they’re swimming in the bay.

i cant find one.. seriously, where can you get one? i live in florida and i actually got my hair wet yesterday because i was snorkeling and i couldnt resist actually going all under water. it was worth it and my hair didn’t get messed up so my hairdresser must have lied to me… haha

Hello! I live in Ohio so no oceans for me (however, we’ve got a pretty nice lake (Erie). But better yet, my husband bought me one of those 18’ seasonal swimming pools that I plan on using as soon as our weather warms up more. It’s only around 60-65 degrees during the day with 40 degree nights right now/ I’ll officially join the challange when the pool is set up and it’s warm enough to use it!

Im just starting to get back into it…it has been delayed for the past 7 months since I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I plan to go to the YMCA on my off chemo weeks and start swimming! Im done with all my surgeries and Im good to go! I believe exercise during chemo is vital and can extend your life as well. Im ready to grab the passion again!
