Make commercials count
Drop that remote and use commercials as a stopwatch instead. Do classic jumping jacks, or mix it up by varying your arm movement or by moving your legs in a cross-country ski motion. I am going to start marching in place during commercials.
I do jumping jacks, sit-ups, and other neat excersises during commercials.
I will alternate between jumping jacks and arm movements during commercials.
I will do a variety of different exercises during commercials
i walk up and down the stairs on commercials, use my hand weights, and jump rope
My goal is sit-ups and crunches during them, regardless of how tired i think i am
my goal is to march in place and alternate between hand weights and jumping jacks
During commercials I will do a variety of “floor exercises” like I did with Jack LaLane in the old days.
This might be fun to help burn off some of my kids energy before bedtime and work off some calories for me and my hubby.

Love the concept and will do back exercises plus other exercises during the commercials.
This sounds perfect for me! Will do a wide variety of exercises and movements including utilizing free weights.

How is it working for everyone?
I will use wrist weights and ankle weights and do arm and leg exercises.
I’m doing any kind of cardio i can think of! and occasionally picking up my 5 lb wieghts
Cool beans- I just marched with my 5 pounders for a few. Every time I use my free weights my puppy goes into cardiac arrest over them…lol. So I have to give her a 3 pounder to play with. It will be a challenge. I love your all’s Ideas though!!!
Yay, this is fun. I’m going to use my weights, do squats, and use my exercise ball during commercials. How fun!
I intend to march, jog in place, dance or what ever feels right at the moment during commercials. My rump needs a break!
We are going to jump, shake, boogie and shake out the giggles during every commercial. The sillier we look the happier we will be! What a great way to have fun and get healthier.
Well i am new here yall and i am going to do sit up squats and jumping jacks during commercials.. hopefully get back to my healthy and happy weight !
HIi everyone, I’m new here as well. My 3yr old jumps through all her shows and commercials so I guess I’ll be joining her while holding my 5month old in my arms. That’ll give me a good work out
I’m planning on alternating different activities during commercials. This should work out great. My 11m old son thinks its so fun when I’m on the floor doing crunches or push-ups!
Having a little trouble sticking to my plan of moving during commercials but am not giving up. Want to lose weight for the sake of my joints as well as my overall health. Encouragement welcomed!
I think I’ll do crunches during the first commercial break, jumping jacks during the second, arm whirls during the third, then start the cycle over is there are more commercials!

Going to do squats, marching in place, dumbbell lifts and crunches alternately during commerical breaks. of course not all in one break.. but a different exercise for each commerical break.
I love this idea! I always work out at night, but this is another great way to get off my bum while I watch a bit of tv. :]

this is great because you watch commercials with people that are trying to lose weight, too.
I am going to jump on my Gazelle or march in place with handweights.
I just joined today and feel great about getting involved in this. I love my T.V. a little to much so hopefully this will get me motivated to get up and do more.
