ntural peanut butter on wholegrain + flaxseed bread worked for me: carb + good fat + protein; the balance thing is what works for me

Today for an afternoon snack I had grapes and yogurt, at the movie theater I had a bag of dried fruit and unsalted/unbuttered popcorn, and just a little while ago for late night I had a bowl of Kashi Vive with soy milk. I think I have the healthy snack thing down.

Yesterday for the afternoon I ate some yogurt and grapes, at the movies I had a bag of dried fruit instead of candy, and for late evening I had a bowl of Kashi Vive cereal with soy milk.

Healthy snacks are readily available here at the office but my fav snacks are whole wheat woven crackers with some low sodium tomato soup and SIFCo fruit leathers (cherry or grape).

Yesterday around snack time, while my wife and in-laws were having cake, I made my own trail mix: in a box of raisin that was almost empty I added almonds, walnuts, cranberries, and pretzels…closed the lid and shook…then I had myself a fairly healthy snack

I ate a Kashi cookie instead of walking to the corner and getting some frozen yogurt. I know it was better for me because after I ate it I felt great. Yum!

I need help! I’m an addicted binge snacker. I do a 30 minute work-out video every morning and some basic crunches, push-ups, squats, toe touches and knee lifts every night, but almost every night when no one’s watching i eat almost everything in sight. I’m 5’1” and way around 115 pounds. i feel huge. any advice?

This afternoon I really wanted chocolate! Instead I mixed blueberries with chopped fresh apple. Now I have no sweet craving and I feel good for not eating the chocolate.

Today is the first day of me making healthy food choices rather than dieting. I realize I must want to do this and it should come naturally rather than forced. IF I feel like falling off the wagon so to speak I’m hoping that this site will help remind me that I want a healthy body!!

Help! Whenever I make a committment to not eat sweets, the sweets seem sweeter, chocolate much more chocolatier, all of it more appealing. I committed yesterday and I ate worse yesterday than I’ve eaten in a long time! Any advice?

Today I had oatmeal sweenetend with honey for breakfast, and an apple as a snack before classes. It helps you concentrate better, especially knowing you had something healthy and filling.

I had a bowl of Kashi granola with milk today at work. And I’ve got Kashi granola bars in my desk too for when I feel a need to snack. It helps to have something yummy than will stick with you.

A few years ago I switched to whole grains. I only eat snack foods with 3g of fiber or more. They taste great and make me feel wonderful. Herr’s has whole grain pretzel sticks which are great and 4g fiber per serving!
