Snack on tea

Rather than reaching for one of those convenient but unhealthy snacks, try drinking a cup of tea while you’re making dinner or when you are craving a snack at work today. It will take your mind away from the snacks and provide some natural antioxidants.

I did it! I made about 5 dozen cookies for gifts this afternoon, but only had one (didn’t even lick the spatula—cross my heart!). My solution was to drink a pot of Bourban Street Vanilla Rooibas tea—incredibly healthy and caffeen-free. My highest reccommendations for it.

oh yes. can do this, love tea. good idea to have tea while cooking! i always pick at whatever i’m cooking and then am not hungry for the finished product! which is a bummer after spending a long time on a dish.

I bought a bunch of different flavored teas which made it fun when it came time to drink them!

I love the Lipton Pyramid Tea. I went through 3 boxes in about one month!

Every morning, while everyone else at the office gets coffee (with cream and sugar), I use the coffee maker’s spigot to brew delicious tea.

Actually, I tried to drink a Coke a couple of days ago (I gave up soft drinks over a year ago) and it was terrible! I’m so glad that I made that choice.

Stay-at-home-mom with two toddlers. I have to stop mindlessly snacking. It is going to be tough to break old habits. I am going to do this! I have about 10 boxes of tea (always had good intentions). Now I will start drinking them!

What a great idea! I don’t know why I never thought of it! I am a stay at home mom of a 5 month old….and I seem to be “grazing” more than ever just out of sheer bordom when he is napping! Vanilla tea is so fabulous!!!

This is a great idea my worst time of day is before dinner. I am definitely going to do this.I Love Numi Ruby Chai….. organic spiced rooibos. Its caffeine free and contains cinnamon which is a natural appetite represent. Maybe it will help me eat less supper.

I have been doing this all this month. Work provides the Lipton regular tea and Bigelow Green Tea (my favorite).

Besides water, tea’s my favorite item! Warm or cold!

You can tell by my screen name that I do this. Green tea is the best! It definitely helps to curb my hunger.

I was never a tea drinker until about a year ago. Now, I have realized that it curbs my hunger. I am a stay at home mom, and snacking was getting out of control. I have found that the key for me is that it has to be WARM liquid. I am not sure what it is about the warmth, but it takes the hunger away. I admit, I still might have a cup of coffee every other day or so, but the majority of it is tea. I have lost 60 pounds and have about 13 left until my goal!

I love this. I like tea and used iced instead with splenda. It’s also great for having antioxidants and other good things for our bodies instead of sugar and flour.

Thank heavens I love tea. It isn’t quite the satisfaction level as an oatmeal-chocolate chip cookie, but I made it through the day!

I really need to get back into drinking my tea. I’ve just been on a water kick lately.

As a child, my family would dig sassafras roots and make the most wonderful hot tea. As this isn’t an option where I now live, I found a substitute in a bottled liquid form in my local grocery store’s tea aisle. It can be added to hot or iced water. I also drink an authentic ginseng tea I found in an Asian store. To add a new twist to my teas, I add a piece of crystalized ginger root. I think it helps to try new teas to tempt the palate instead of snacks. I can do this!
