Make pasta from scratch

Ever wonder what it’d be like to make pasta from scratch? Although it’s not difficult, it can be somewhat time-consuming. But there are so many benefits! To start, because homemade pasta is made with eggs (and whole grain flour, if you choose), it’s more nutritious than store-bought varieties. Moreover, there’s something to be said for pleasure of tasting something you’ve made from scratch and sharing it with family and friends.

This weekend, take the time to learn how to make pasta. Then, share what you’ve made with your loved ones.

this is a really fun thing to do w/ some friends for a Pasta Night dinner party! grab lots of different fresh & natural pasta toppings (ie, olive oil, capers, olives, pine nuts, fresh herbs, tomatoes, onions, etc) for a delicious, healthy, and fun time with all your friends!!

This was so much fun! And a lot less time consuming than I expected.

I made my own whole wheat ravioli and they were delicious! I am thankful that I have spent 7 years as a professional caterer and learned how to make simple substitutions to make recipes healthier. It makes my waistline happy as well! :)

Much simpler then I thought it was going to be, and gave me an excuse to buy a rolling pin.
