We only used our CC twice for emergencies only since August our debt is shrinking. We use our debit cards for most purchases.

I am really working towards this goal and I hop to have all of my credit cards paid off by the summer. I am cutting back on spending and shopping sales to save money.

I want to use my credit cards less when shopping and instead use cash. Also pay towards my current payments.

I have operating a flexible budget lately, but need to buckle down to eliminate any excess spending and pay the last part of my debt and save to travel this summer!

I have been doing a good job of checking out the grocery store ads and getting the best deals. Also, we have implemented the “don’t spend ANY money at least one day a week” plan. It’s really made a difference.

Within the next two days, I will pay off all my credit cards. After that, I will only use one for emergencies and, if needed, gifts. I am waiting for my Microsoft Word diskettes – when I receive them, I will create a comprehensive budget, compare it with my fixed income and make changes as necessary.

My New Year’s resolution is to not use credit cards at all – so far I am on track (I actually last used a cc on 12/22). I am nervous about this personal challenge and hope I can stay on track.

mint.com is a fabulous online resource-recently Money magazine named it a top pick. You can track all of your credit, bank and investment accounts in one place and receive email alerts if you go over budget or if you have a bill due.

This has been my goal since January 1. We keep an index card of the week taped to our kitchen island and log our expenses each day when we come home. It’s making us think twice about what we spend. Looking foward to doing the January 31 wrap up to get a baseline for the year.

Part of my New Year’s resolution was to stop using my credit cards for everything. Also to appreciate what I already have, instead of always wanting more.

My budget has been made plus I’m using cash for unplanned misc. spending instead of using credit or debit cards.
